A) Company Sponsored Higher Education Programs:

JSPL provides immense learning opportunities to fulfil the dreams of its employees through Higher Education Programs. The employees are given a chance to pursue

  • Full time MBA from JGBS, Sonepat
  • Weekend MBA from OPJU, Raigarh &
  • M. Tech from IIT Bombay

It helps them advance their knowledge and at the same time gives them the opportunity for career progression. These courses are sponsored for the employees by JSPL.

B) JLMT Program:

Jindal Lead Management Trainee (JLMT) program at JSPL is a unique way to hire and nurture the talented potential future leaders who apply strategic thinking in solving the real business challenges and complexities. The program enables the trainees to get hands on experience and simulation learning across diverse roles and functions within the organization. Hiring of JLMTs is done through reputed management institutes and final placement happens after extensive selection process.

As part of their New Hire Orientation Program, a structured 2 month induction plan is followed for the JLMTs which is a blend of plant onsite visits and classroom training sessions.

C) GET Program:

JSPL has always emphasised on working with a fresh talent pool. The Company recruits fresh engineers at the entry level under the Graduate Engineers Training Programme (GET). GET has been introduced so that young engineers can be recruited and shaped as per the working standards and methodology of the Company. The first All India GET Recruitment process was initiated in 2007, where 125 fresh engineer graduates across 4 disciplines i.e. mechanical, electrical, I&C & metallurgical were hired by JSPL.

The selection process under GET program includes:

  • Written Test (Domain + Aptitude)
  • Group Discussion
  • Personal Interviews (Technical + HR)
  • Physical Fitness Assessment

The new recruits, at first undergo a detailed Induction program where they are acclimatised to organisational culture, values and also to the systems, quality procedures, pproduction processes etc. They also go through an awareness training on the safety procedures.

JSPL offers attractive remuneration packages to GETs and Management Trainees in order to reward and retain the best talent. This recruitment scheme has helped enhance JSPL's brand image and created considerable awareness about the company among the student fraternity.
