From the beginning, JSPL has recognized this responsibility and worked towards the development of the wider community they operate in.
The Social Accountability System, SA 8000, initiated by JSPL is a solid step towards maintaining corporate awareness and conscientiousness. JSPL’s CSR programme is guided by its core values, which form the nucleus of its corporate culture.

A corporate with a social conscience, JSPL is forever working towards forming a better society. Today, JSPL is the largest private sector investor in the state of Chhattisgarh and focuses on the development of its basic infrastructure. The Company has taken up a number of programmes to improve the lives of the underprivileged. Raigarh, a tribal district in Chhattisgarh, is one such example.
To bring about a positive difference, JSPL has adopted around 40 villages and contributes to the development of the region through a more holistic effort. Amenities such as a hospital, school, musical fountain, auditorium, etc. built here offer a better lifestyle.
