HC Silico Manganese stands out as one of the most imperative requirements needed for the manufacturing of steel. At JSPL, high carbon Silico Manganese, one of the pre-requisites for making graded steel in SMS, is sourced from the captive SAF plant in Raigarh location.


The Plant

The SAF plant with a production capacity (HC SiMn) of 30,000 TPA is fully equipped with a modern laboratory with state-of-the-art testing facilities at par with international standards. From each tapping, control samples are collected and analyzed so as to maintain the international standards of product quality.

Throughout the manufacturing process, special emphasis is laid on ensuring the quality of raw materials used at all levels. The entire production process goes through a rigorous quality testing method and conforms to international standards.
