Long Rails from JSPL

Keeping in view the importance of significantly growing rail sector in the country and the nearby markets, JSPL has pioneered manufacturing of 121 metre long track rails and a facility to factory weld these rails in welded lengths of upto 480 meters, in the Indian sub-continent. The world's longest track rails are a testimony to JSPL's manufacturing capabilities where continuous innovation is a practice rather than an exception.

Longest rails from JSPL help in achieving a drastic reduction in the welded joints, providing enhanced safety, cost reduction and travel comfort. Our products are subjected to stringent quality norms and therefore match all international standards.

JSPL is also a preferred supplier for Crane Rails which find widespread usage in EOT cranes as well as for Gantry Crane operations.

 

Flash-Butt Welded Rail Panels

While rails can be supplied in customized finished lengths ranging from 13 m to 121 m, a modern Flash-Butt Welding plant equipped to produce upto 484 metre long Flash Butt Welded Rail panels is available at JSPL. JSPL is in a position to make transportation arrangements for such long rails to the construction sites.

The Plant is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities that aid continuous on-line inspection and quality control, helping to adhere to specifications laid down by the Indian Railways and international bodies.

JSPL rails are rolled in different sections ranging from IRS-52, UIC-54 & UIC-60 confirming to Indian Rail Specificatiions IRS T-12 as well as various other International railway specifications.
