Leveraging our capabilities and bringing them in sync with our corporate vision, we are transforming the global steel and power sector. With our related diversification plans, we are today amongst the largest integrated steel and power generation corporates. Constantly evolving and continuously looking at quantum leaps in technology, JSPL has setup a state-of-the-art Rail & Universal Beam Rolling Mill at Raigarh, Chhattisgarh.

We offer our customers worldwide, a manifestation of Steel and Power products. Steel, the very foundation of our growth and diversification, is available as Carbon Steel and Alloy Steel. It confirms to various National & International Standards (like SAE, AISI, DIN, IS and ASTM) and is produced in the form of billet, bloom, round and slab. Enhancing safety, increasing reliability and ensuring a prolonged rail life, we have set-up a Rail and Universal Beam Mill producing world's longest 120 meter long finished rails for the first time in India. The plant is also equipped with a Flash Butt Welding Plant for welding of rails from 240 meters to 480 meters long rail panels. Available in normal grade as well as wear resistant grade, our steel is certified by BSI-London for Quality BS:EN 9002:2000 and BS: EN 14001:1996 for Environmental Management System.

Our H-beams, hot rolled parallel flange beams and columns are available in a comprehensive size range, from small and medium to larger sizes (Universal Beams: 200x100 to 700x300 mm and Universal Columns: 150x150 to 350x350 mm). For H -Beams, BIS Code No.IS-12778 is available for sizes up to 600x220 mm and is under review for the inclusion of sizes upto 900x300 mm. We have pioneered the production of medium and large size hot rolled parallel flange beams and columns, in India and these confirm to the international specifications.

Exercising the back-end integration to its best, we have the world's largest coal-based Sponge Iron manufacturing facility. We are the only sponge iron manufacturer, having its own captive raw material resources & power generation and we are also one of the lowest-cost producers of the same. We are responsibly producing almost the entire stock of Ferro Chrome for our captive requirements and are tapping the global markets to export the additional quantities of the same.

Going a step further, from gearboxes to equipment for continuous casting and HR as well as CR mill equipment, we are manufacturing an extensive range of Heavy Machinery in our ISO 9001 certified machinery division, that is equipped with state-of-the-art quality testing and inspection facilities.

Power is our other core operational area and our expertise in it has made us one of India's most economical power producers in the private sector. We are utilizing this power for captive purpose and also supplying it to Chhattisgarh State Electricity Board and to industrial units in the Industrial Estate. Having an undeterred and sharp focus, we are poised for a quantum leap in this sector and are also setting up a 1000 MW O P Jindal Super Thermal Power Plant at Raigarh in the State of Chhattisgarh, thereby contributing to the growing power needs of our nation.
