Meeting the random ups & downs in the domestic and international steel sector, we have been successfully catering to construction, machinery & equipment and household sectors and thus contributing to gross capital formation. We commissioned a 'Rail & Universal Beam Rolling Mill' at our Raigarh plant (in Chhattisgarh) that produces world-class Parallel Flange Beams & Columns, in size ranging from 200mm to 700mm and 150mm to 300mm respectively, in addition to long rails.

These products offer unique advantages as they adequately address the growing needs of construction and infrastructure sectors in India. The core advantage of these products over the conventional I-sections lies in the fact that they ensure substantial reduction in steel consumption by offering a wider choice of unit weights and dimensions for same nominal depth. These new beams offer better statical properties and hence are highly cost effective.

After gaining ground in Middle East & S.E Asia, having highest consumption volume of 21,000 tonnes, our beams are also finding increased acceptance among the nation's leading designers, architects and engineers. The supply trends endorse this statement. During the first year of operation itself, we achieved the landmark of supplying 100,000 tonnes of the products to our customers.
